So here is my review for the month of March 2018

  • March Goals Results

1. Catch up with all Admin work for Flower Gift Korea: I managed to catch up with all of the admin work. Admin work needs to constantly be done, so I can clearly see how much we are selling, how much we are spending, and see trends in our sales. Then I can decide with the information I have and make moves to further grow the business, and keep the customers we currently have as happy as possible.

2. Reach $15,000 in sales. We did okay this March! I honestly was not expecting us to reach our goal this month, but we passed it! Back to back good months!

3. Catch up with adding new flower products to the Flower Gift Korea Website. I was able to add some new products to our Flower Gift Korea website, but there are still some products that I have not added yet. I definitely have to get to it soon, but I’m just not really in a rush to, I don’t know why. But yeah, some time this week!

4. Get back to journaling and working in the early mornings. I have been able to do my morning routines again. I even had a good streak of 6 days straight. I miss a day here and there, but I’ve been pretty good since the end of March. I got to keep it up!

5. Complete my Trade website and create an Alibaba account. My trade website is somewhat done, but my wife and I have decided to take it in a different direction. I was just going to network with potential buyers online and try to make sales that way. But we decided to work on creating content for the website and trying to make our website better, content wise at least. So it is going to take a lot of work. And to be honest, we haven’t done much. But we are looking at the trade business as a long game, but who knows what changes will happen in the next few months.

6. Network with potential import/export clients/people. I haven’t done any networking with people in the trade industry, except for meeting some people at a trade show I visited in March.

7. Do some marketing for White Day (March 14th – Flower Gift Korea. I probably spent less than $50 on ads this March, but we still did okay, which is amazing. I’m currently spending $0 on ads and our numbers are pretty good. I’m still debating with myself about whether or not I should use paid ads. For now, I’m just going to keep the ads off and see how it goes.

  • Other March News

March wasn’t as busy as February, but March turned out to be better than I thought it would be. Flower Gift Korea has been occupying most of my time and energy the last few months, but I am looking to focus on some of my other work as well. I also visited a trade show held at COEX in March, which helped me brainstorm some new ideas for my trade business. As mentioned, I am officially the owner of Smart Trade Korea, but I haven’t actively sought out buyers for items in Korea or offered any services. But I’ve been thinking a lot about this business lately. I’m also looking forward to all of the cherry blossom trees blooming soon. Yeah, they look really nice. Every once in awhile, don’t forget to look around and enjoy the view.

  • Other Businesses and Projects

I have added some new products and services on I offer a new membership that gives you the opportunity to receive some face-to-face consulting from me, as well as a coaching program where I coach people for the first 3 months of their business. I also lowered the price for content access, so more people should be able to invest a little money and learn more about the Hagwon industry. I also had the pleasure of meeting some of my members in person in the past and it was really refreshing providing my advice on their business ideas. And after hearing from multiple people that I should be a business consultant, I am now available to provide consulting and coaching. I may offer some general business consulting through this website soon, but for now, it is available at

  • Thoughts, Goals and The Big Picture for April 2018

I feel like April is going to be a peaceful month, at least for my flower business. There aren’t any particular special days like Parents’ Day and Valentine’s Day, so I’m looking forward to getting a little less sales and having more time to grow my other projects and businesses. I am unsure exactly which project I am going to focus on most, but I just recently updated the website and am looking forward to creating content for my trade website.

April 2018 Goals:

  1. Create a concrete plan for April
  2. Reach $12,000 in sales
  3. Create at least 4 blog posts/podcasts for
  4. Create at least four blog posts for
  5. Network with potential import/export clients/people

It is April, and I’m not even totally sure what I should be doing for this month. So I am going to tackle my first goal right after I complete this blog post. I really want to be productive this month. I wasn’t very productive the last few months. Even though Flower Gift Korea kept me busy, especially in February, I didn’t really do much building or content creation. So I need to really optimize my time this month. I need to create content for others to find online. So that’s what this month is going to be mainly about, content creation. Let’s do it!
